Description
With the 13.2 sqm Utgard, renowned manufacturer Nordisk presents a tent that's as close to living in a house as you can get. It features entrances and windows on both the front and back, plus two small floor-to-ceiling windows on each side, ensuring good ventilation and plenty of light. The cotton used ensures a comfortable interior climate and keeps the tent pleasantly cool even on hot summer days.
The Utgard can accommodate up to 6 campers. However, it's also ideal for smaller groups, especially if you want to decorate the tent with furniture and accessories to create a cozy home-from-home feel.
Optionally, the tent can be ordered with one or two separate inner cabins, which reduces the number of people to 2 or 4, but at the same time offers the many well-known advantages of an inner tent.
Also available as an option is a zip-in tent floor, which is easy to install thanks to the zipper and makes the tent even more comfortable.
The material:
The cotton used offers numerous advantages over the more commonly used polyester. Not only is it significantly more resistant to UV radiation (making the tent more durable), but the properties of cotton also create a much more pleasant indoor climate. Technical cotton, thanks to the blend of cotton and polyester, is characterized by its lighter weight and increased durability. The material is highly waterproof—without any coating. Thanks to a special process, the cotton mesh shrinks upon contact with water, creating a waterproof fabric that reliably protects you from the rain with a hydrostatic head of 350 mm.
