Description
The Katadyn Combi water filter is a versatile filter for use while trekking, traveling around the world, or on mountain tours. With its faucet attachment kit, it's also suitable for caravans, motorhomes, boats, or as a temporary filter at home. The filter is suitable for small groups of up to three people and for heavily contaminated water.
The Katadyn Combi water filter offers two functions in one unit (activated carbon and ceramic) with an easy switch to single-stage operation (ceramic only, without the activated carbon stage). The proven ceramic depth filter removes bacteria, protozoa, and other pathogens. The mini-pores of the filter ceramic (pore size: 0.2 microns = 0.0002 mm) are smaller than these microorganisms. Due to their size, these cannot pass through the filter element and are removed from the water. The replaceable activated carbon granules reduce chemicals and unpleasant taste.
The integrated adapter fits most drinking bottles. The flow rate is approximately 1 liter per minute and the service life is up to 50,000 liters, depending on the water quality. The activated carbon should be replaced after two fillings or 400 liters.
